Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well-regarded construction litigation law firm in Irvine to hire an experienced Temporary Trial Paralegal. This role will support attorneys in preparation for an upcoming trial involving complex construction-related matters, making it an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigation professional with hands-on trial experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of trial preparation in construction litigation matters
- Organize, review, and manage large volumes of case documents, project records, and exhibits
- Prepare trial binders, witness files, exhibit lists, and demonstratives
- Coordinate with experts (e.g., engineers, contractors, consultants), witnesses, and vendors
- Assist with deposition preparation, including summaries and exhibit organization
- Draft, format, and finalize motions, pleadings, and trial-related filings
- Manage e-filing in California state and/or federal courts as needed
- Provide in-court trial support, including exhibit handling and real-time coordination with attorneys
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with strong trial preparation experience required
- Experience in construction law or complex civil litigation strongly preferred
- Familiarity with construction-related documents (contracts, change orders, RFIs, project records) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of California court procedures, rules, and deadlines
- Experience with e-filing platforms (e.g., One Legal, PACER/ECF)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and litigation support tools
- Ability to manage high volumes of information and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
Assignment Details
- Temporary assignment expected to last approximately 5-6 months
- Fully onsite role in Irvine
